The Club’s Richard Schultheis for an incredible th place finish at the 2024 International Moth Class World Championships in Manly, New Zealand.

This result puts Richard amongst some of the biggest names in the sailing world, where he showcased his talent in this ultra-competitive fleet which included Olympians, America’s Cup and SailGP participants including Olympic Medallists Diego Botin (Paris 2024), Ian Jensen (London 2012, Rio 2016), Lucas Calabrese (London 2012).

The top four competitors on the leaderboard were Mattias Coutts, son of the legendary Russell Coutts, Jacob Pye, an emerging talent, Otto Henry, Youth World Champion and Seb Menzies – 2022 Junior World Champion in the 49er class.
