Port 21 – Opening on 10th May

Port 21 – Opening on 10th May

The long awaited opening of the Club’s restaurant, under new management, is finally here and we cannot be more excited!

On Monday 10th May, “Port 21” – as the new Restaurant will be called,  will be opening its doors to members.

Front of House Tiziana Pace and Head Chef Oliver Kavaji will be ready to welcome members from 0900hrs until 1700hrs on a daily basis.

Although, the restaurant will be launching with a pre-opening menu for the time being, members will be spoilt for choice and will be able to enjoy an all day menu. Chef Oliver will kick start your day with a Baker’s Corner which will include a selection of toasts, ftiras, baguettes, croissants and other small bites. For those wanting a heartier offering, from 1000hrs English Breakfast and wraps will be served. The lunch menu will include a selection of salads, pasta dishes and main courses – vegetarian options are also included.  During the weekend the restaurant will also be offering a number of special items on the menu.

Now, that we got you all excited about all this, we need to make sure that things run smoothly.  Please keep in mind that Tiziana and Oliver will need to get to know you and familiarise themselves with the members – so do bear with them.

For the time being, tables can be reserved ONLY by contacting Tiziana on +356 7927 6886. Since this is a soft opening, a limited amount of reservations will be accepted. When making your reservation please confirm that you are members.

Members will only be given a 10% discount on food items upon presentation of their valid  membership card. (Tip: you can take a clear photo of your card (front and back) and keep it on your mobile – that works too!).

Meanwhile, you need to be aware of Covid-19 related measures laid out by the Health Authorities and the Malta Tourism Authority – we strongly encourage you to take note of them so things will flow smoothly:-

  • Only four (4) guests per table are allowed
  • Last orders will be taken at 1600hrs
  • Guests will be asked to leave premises by 1645hrs
  • Restaurant will close at 1700hrs

Failure to comply to the above will mean heavy fines for the Club and the Restaurant Team, so do ensure this does not happen.

Well, we think this is enough information for the time being, we are looking forward to welcoming you back to the Club.

With Oliver and Tiziana’s experience we are sure that “Port 21” at the Royal Malta Yacht Club will quickly become your favourite eatery!

See you on Monday!
