Better Conditions Define Day 2 of EurILCA Master Series

The EurILCA Master Series progressed on Saturday for the second day of racing, where the fleet put in three races on a two lap windward/leeward course set by Race Officer Martin Azzopardi.

Wind conditions were more favourable than yesterday, starting with around 12 to 15 knots but increased to around 18 knots during the course of the second race.  Waves were rather high but did not cause any disruptions to the fleet.

UAE’s Adil Khalid maintained his winning streak, remaining unbeaten across all four races. Dirk de Bie (CAN) holds second place, trailing behind Khalid by an 8-point margin. Max Hunt (GBR), who secured third overall place last year, recovered from a less-than-ideal start yesterday to climb into third, finishing the day level on points with de Bie.
