The RMYC is excited to be able to host the forthcoming Veuve Clicquot Round Linosa Offshore Race. Necessary permits by the relevant authorities have been issued and the fleet will set off on Saturday 29th May.
In the meantime, allow us to introduce the Veuve Clicquot Round Linosa Trophy, which was commissioned by Yachting Malta and Veuve Clicquot, this trophy is stunning piece of art created by Maltese artist Thomas Scerri. Born to a ceramicist, Thomas was exposed to art at a very young age. Over the years Thomas has experimented with various materials, and currently focuses mostly on sculpture and lens-based media.
The Veuve Clicquot Round Linosa Trophy is made of steel and will stand on a base of Cedar Wood of Lebanon.
