CLUBHOUSE NEWS
The basement level of the new clubhouse is nearing completion and is in its final finishing stage. All the electricity and plumbing is done, all walls have been plastered and painted, light fittings installed and the gym equipment arrived this week is being assembled today. The showers and toilet facilities are nearing completion and the whole level should be ready in a few days time. More details regarding the use of the gym equipment will soon be made available to members only.
The outside waterfront site is under construction and we are planning to have this ready by the end of June. With this extension, the Clubhouse terrace will now go beyond Guze restaurant and in front of the Irrera Kiosk overlooking Marsamxetto Harbour.

INTERNATIONAL YACHT PAINTS DOUBLE HANDED ROUND MALTA RACE
Another greatly anticipated race the RMYC organises is the X2 Round Malta Race sponsored by International Yacht Paints. Briefing & registration will be held at the Clubhouse on Wednesday, 14th April starting at 7.30pm. The race will start on Saturday, 17th April with the prize giving being held on Wednesday, 21st April at 8pm at the Club.

GEWISS MARZAMEMI WEEKEND REGATTA
The 1st of May Bank Holiday is soon approaching, and with it, the Gewiss Marzamemi Weekend regatta. We already have a large number of boats who have already registered their entry through the online entry form on the club website, thus guaranteeing their berth in Marzamemi. This regatta is very much on a "first registered – first berthed basis" in the marina due to the limited number of slots available. Should you have any intention on participating, please register immediately so as not to be disappointed.

IRC REVALIDATIONS
We have many boat owners who have not yet renewed their IRC ratings for 2010. The IRC Rating office in the UK is inundated with renewals at this time of the year, so should you wish to race in the X2 Round Malta Race or Marzamemi Weekend Regatta, please contact the club on info@rmyc.org as soon as possible.
