Paymix Pro Ragusa Regatta Set for an Interesting Fleet

The 2025 Paymix Pro Ragusa Fleet

Excitement is building for the forthcoming Paymix Pro Ragusa Regatta, hosted by the Royal Malta Yacht Club,  and taking place between the 1st and 3rd May,  with crews making final preparations for what promises to be another highlight of the Club’s sailing calendar.

The fleet list is shaping up nicely, featuring an interesting blend of racing and cruising yachts— a mix that has long been part of the character of this event and that ensures spirited competition at the front while keeping the regatta accessible and enjoyable for all.

Entries are coming in steadily, and the Club is well on track to equal, if not exceed, the strong fleet that took part last year.

At the heart of the programme is the passage race from Malta to Ragusa, starting on the 1st May public holiday, with the return passage scheduled for Sunday, giving crews just the right amount of time to enjoy a proper long weekend on and off the water.

Ashore, the social programme is as inviting as the sailing. Plans include a padel tournament, drinks in Ragusa, and plenty of free time for crews to explore the town, enjoy the local food and wine, and soak up the Sicilian atmosphere before turning the bows back towards Malta.

“We are extremely grateful to Paymix Pro for once again backing this weekend. Their support allows us to deliver an event that combines serious offshore racing with a really enjoyable social side, and it is a partnership we value enormously. We are looking forward to a fantastic weekend in Ragusa and a great sail home” remarked Adrian Gauci Borda, Rear Commodore (Sailing)

Race Briefing and drinks will take place at the Royal Malta Yacht Club on Wednesday 29th April at 1900hrs.
