The Royal Malta Yacht Club wishes to inform members and participants that, due to the significant damage sustained by the Gozo Marina during Storm Harry, the Marina is currently unable to accommodate the fleet expected for the forthcoming Gozo Regatta weekend.

In light of these circumstances, the Club is finalising alternative arrangements to ensure that a competitive and enjoyable weekend of racing can still take place. While the event will no longer be hosted in Gozo, every effort is being made to deliver a regatta format that maintains the spirit and standard associated with this fixture in the Club’s calendar.

Importantly, the weekend will continue to feature the social element that participants have come to expect from the Club’s regatta programme. Opportunities for crews to gather ashore and enjoy the camaraderie that defines these events will remain an integral part of the schedule.

Members are kindly requested to keep the dates reserved and crews on standby. Further details, including the revised venue and sailing instructions, will be communicated shortly.
