The Committee of the Royal Malta Yacht together with the Government of Malta have come to an agreement regarding the future location of the Royal Malta Yacht Club.

The Yachting Centre, which was occupied by the Malta Maritime Authority, will be the new Club House for the RMYC.

Works commenced on the 1st April and we expect to finish the new Club House as early as mid 2009.

The Committee would like to thank Minister Austin Gatt together with the MMA Chairman, Mr Mark Portelli, for assisting in making this dream a reality.Mr Albert Mamo from the Lands Department, PS Clyde Puli and PS Jason Azzopardi.

The Official opening of the new Club House will be held on Wednesday, 14th October 2009.
